Study Guides
You are welcome to use our study guides in your classroom, as preparation for attending a performance or while studying Shakespeare. If you reproduce any part or portion of a guide please credit the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and the individual author accordingly!
Some documents are only an in-depth synopsis of the play as performed here at The Tavern; these are labeled synopsis. Some documents are complete study guides for a performance at The Tavern or a study guide you can use in preparation for one of our in-class ?playshops in performance? (in-class workshops). Every performance and playshop study guide has a synopsis of the play included. Check out the label for each if you are unsure. Some study guides have QCC?s or Georgia Performance Standards included for 9th or 10th grade.
Some study guides are in PDF form, some are in Microsoft Word Docs.
If the title of the play you are studying is not here, we haven?t written it yet! Check back each season as we add more. Click on the title to pull up the Study Guide for that play.
