Shakespeare Intensive for Teens (SIT)
SIT is for students in rising 9th to rising college freshmen. SIT Audition dates for 2019 are February 23 and 24, 2019 (late auditions February 23 and 24). You must submit an online application to be considered for SIT.
SIT is an audition-based student summer program in performance and Shakespeare. You will be totally immersed in a professional-style training program, similar to those that professional actors use to improve their own skills. In addition (which most student programs don’t offer) you will be cast in a full-length play from the Shakespeare canon. The fast rehearsal process, similar to that of our professional company at the Tavern, will give you the confidence and skill to make quick, bold acting choices, and will stretch your creative wings!
